This website is operated by Repair it Reuse it. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Repair it Reuse it. Repair it Reuse it offers this website including all information, tools and services available form this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms,
conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “service”, “Terms”, including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.
These Terms of service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.
Any new features of tools which are added to the current site shall also be subject to the terms of this service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page.
We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Small Appliance Repair Terms & Conditions
- These terms and conditions are made between Repair it Reuse it (“the Supplier”) and the Customer and shall apply to all requests for repair/service placed by the Customer and adopted by the Supplier whether written or oral and whether expressly mentioned or not. Please include your contact details and a description of the fault (the more information the better).
- It is the customer`s responsibility to send the faulty machine safely into our workshop. We recommend the use of suitable internal and external packaging to protect the machine against any possible transit damage including the wrapping of plugs and accessories which could scratch the machine. We advise that the Customer takes a photograph of the machine prior to despatch so that there is a record of its condition.
- If the Customer chooses the option for Repair it Reuse it to provide a courier tote box, we will include internal packaging materials. However, further packaging may be needed subject to the size and shape of the machine. We also advise to wrap up plugs and any accessories. We recommend a photograph of the machine is taken prior to despatch so that there is a record of its condition. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the machine sustained in transit to us. However, if this courier option is requested the Customer can insure the machine against transit damage by paying the appropriate insurance premium listed on the booking form.
- We will book the courier collection on behalf of the Customer on the day the service is requested.
- Should the Customer decide to cancel the booking of this courier service option, and we are unable to stop the courier in time we will recover any associated courier charges and expenses already incurred from the Customer. (Normally deducted from any credit owing).
- In the event the Customer does not receive their machine within 3 days of being despatched by us the Customer shall notify Repair it Reuse it to enable us to investigate promptly.
- In the event of any loss or damage caused by our appointed courier in returning the machine to the Customer, the maximum liability of Repair-it Reuse-it is £100.00 plus the full reimbursement of the repair charge incurred. However, we can on behalf of the Customer, arrange insurance cover for any loss or damage caused by the courier up to a maximum value of £1,000.00. for an additional premium of £8.50 payable in advance.
- The Customer shall inspect the goods after the repair/ service has been completed and any loss or defect must be notified in writing within 7 days after completion of the repair/service otherwise it is expressly agreed that risk passes to the Customer 7 days after completion of the repair/service.
- If the Customer shall fail to give notice as required in 5 then the repair /service shall be deemed in all respect to be in accordance with the contract and the Customer shall be deemed to have irrevocably and unconditionally accepted the repair/service as being completely satisfactory.
- Repair it Reuse it shall not be liable for any loss, cost, damages or expenses suffered by the Customer or any other person or company howsoever arising out of any failure to meet any estimated repair/service time or installation date.
- Repair it Reuse it hereby expressly excludes to the extent permitted by law, liability (arising in contract or in tort howsoever arising) for
i. Consequential loss or damage caused by or arising out of the repair or service of the equipment or occurring in respect of the equipment, and
ii. Loss or damage due to fair wear and tear, negligence or improper use, and operational use, storage, or handling other than strictly in accordance with the Supplier’s written or oral instructions during the repair or service.
iii. Loss, injury or damage (including consequential loss) arising from fire, accident industrial
dispute, civil disturbance or any other act or accidental default interfering with the repair/service of the equipment and beyond the control of the Supplier. - If you request a refund for a repair, we reserve the right to reverse any repair completed and retain any parts fitted before processing the refund. We cannot guarantee that your original part will be returned but we will provide a part in similar condition to the part that was originally attached to the device when the repair was initiated. By requesting a refund, you acknowledge and accept these terms
- It is a condition of the contract that the parts/consumables delivered by the Supplier to the Customer shall remain vested in the Supplier until payment due under all orders placed with the Supplier by the Customer has been made in full.
- These terms and conditions shall in all respects be governed and construed in accordance with English Law.
- Repair it Reuse it warranty covers parts against failure but not against liquid damage or accidental damage.
- Our warranty coverage is applicable solely to customers residing in the United Kingdom.
- If we are unable to complete the Service for any reason, or the Service will incur further costs payable by you beyond that initially estimated by us, we will notify you immediately via telephone and or email/text message. If no fault is found on your Device or you do not accept our revised estimate, we will return your Device to you unrepaired but reserve the right to charge you a diagnostic fee in accordance with our standard charges.
- The warranty attaches to a specific device as identified by its unique serial number and to a specific Customer as identified by the records on our system. It will cover the Customer for any repairs of the original fault and for the parts replaced/ replaced only. If additional faults arise, they will not be covered under the terms of the warranty Furthermore, the warranty will not cover accidental damage, nor will the cover extend should the device change ownership.
- We do not accept responsibility for any progression damage where your device has been repaired elsewhere prior to your repair at Repair it Reuse it.
Liability
1. Our entire liability in respect of any single cause of action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement (whether for breach of contract, tort, including negligence, statute or otherwise at all) shall be limited to the extent that the cause of the action related to our supply of the Services, at our exclusive option to either:
a) Supplying the services again
b) Repaying you any amount that you have paid in respect of the services and returning your device to a similar condition as it was receive
2. In the unlikely event your Device is damaged beyond economical repair or lost as a direct result of a service or repair undertaken by Repair it Reuse it, you are entitled to a fully functioning refurbished device of equal value to your Device, based on its model and condition as received and with the original repair issue resolved.
To receive a refurbished replacement device, full payment must have been received for the repair service and the relevant damaged device must be surrendered to Repair it Reuse it. Your original device will be kept by Repair it Re use it and any device may take up to 10 working days to be provided although we will make every effort to provide a replacement sooner.
If a suitable refurbished replacement is not available, we will reimburse you the value of your Device reflecting its model, age, and condition when received by us as well as the estimated cost of the repair.
3. Nothing in the Liability Clause shall apply to limit or exclude our liability for: (a) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence (b) breach of any terms implied by statute (c) any claim arising under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or (d) fraudulent misrepresentation.
Online Terms
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of the majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of service violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your services.
Terms and Conditions applicable to smart phones, tablets and related devices.
2. All repairs (unless otherwise stated)
2.1 This Agreement shall commence from the date you sign the preliminary service form and shall last until we have repaired or otherwise returned your Device, whichever is sooner and received any payment due from you.
2.2 We shall make all reasonable efforts to repair your Device subject to the availability of any parts required and or the terms of any relevant warranty or guarantee. We shall perform the Service using our utmost care and skill.
2.3 We offer both high-quality after- market and OEM (genuine) parts (where possible) for the repairs of your device.
2.4 Where specified we also offer genuine Apple parts sourced from Apple. In such cases we will use Apple diagnostics, tools, and processes to make sure your Apple product repair is done safely and reliably.
2.5 We perform a series of tests when booking a Device in for repair. If the Device is not testable during this stage, Repair it Reuse it is not liable for any faults found therefore we shall require the passcode for your Device to test the Device before and after the Service. Should you prefer to keep this information private, we can still proceed with the repair, but we will not be able to perform a full functional check on the Device which can delay the provision of the Service, if any adjustments need to be made.
2.6 Any time estimate for completion of the service, which may be given to you is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this Agreement. We will aim to return your Device as soon as reasonably possible. However, any Board Level repairs may take at least 5 working days to be completed.
2.7 If we are unable to complete the Service for any reason, or the Service will incur further costs payable by you beyond that initially estimated by us, we will notify you immediately via telephone and or email/ text message. If no fault is found on your Device or you do not accept our revised estimate, we will return your Device to you unrepaired and we reserve the right to charge you a diagnostic fee in accordance with our standard charges.
2.8 In order to complete a diagnostic test or repair it may be necessary to disassemble the device, which may result in further damage to the device. Repair it Reuse it takes no liability for any further damage to the device because of any existing damage. Repair it Reuse it will not cover the cost of replacement parts in any circumstances if the device is not repairable.
2.9 The cost of repair will be calculated wherever possible in accordance with our standard charges as published from time to time.
2.10 All diagnostic testing is a chargeable, non-refundable service.
2.11 We will notify you when the Device has been repaired and is available for collection from the service centre. Any delivery from our warehouse will be chargeable.
2.12 We shall be entitled to keep your Device until all charges payable have been paid. We may also charge an additional fee for storage of your Device if not collected in a timely manner.
2.13 By proceeding with our repair services you agree that any parts removed during the repair process will be retained by us for the purpose of safe and environmentally responsible recycling.
2.14 Use of our service may void your manufacturer`s warranty. If you wish to avoid this, then please take your Device directly to the manufacturer. However, please note that your manufacturer`s warranty will not cover any accidental damage to your Device.
2.15 Repair it Reuse it will install warranty seals following the repair. Any tampering of the seals will void the Repair it Reuse it warranty.
2.16 Our products and repairs are covered by the warranty terms outlined in the table below:

Repair it Reuse it warranty covers parts against failure but not against liquid damage or accidental damage.
Should your device be diagnosed with any liquid damage at any point of repair, and parts replaced will only have a 3-month warranty.
2.17 The Warranty attaches to a specific device as identified by its unique IMEI or serial number and to a specific Customer as identified by the records on our system. It will cover the Customer for any repairs of the original fault and for the parts replaced / repaired only. If additional faults arise, they will not be covered under the terms of the Warranty. Furthermore, the Warranty will not cover accidental damage, nor will the cover extend should the device change ownership.
2.18 All repairs carried out by Repair it Reuse it will have warranty seals applied, whenever a device is returned for a warranty repair the integrity of these seals are checked, if the seals are found to be missing or tampered with Repair it Reuse it reserves the right to void any warranty attached to the device.
2.19 Our warranty coverage is applicable solely to customers who are currently residing in the United Kingdom.
2.20 Warranty repairs do not cover any additional travel, postage or courier costs incurred.
2.21 We do not accept responsibility for any progression in damage where your Device has been repaired elsewhere prior to your repair at Repair it Reuse it, or any issues found in your Device (ie Touch Disease, ripped flex) which were not evident upon initial inspection. Should any issues become evident, once the Device is opened, we will contact you via telephone/ email/text message.
2.22 We do not accept responsibility for any progression in damage for Devices that have been damaged by liquid. Opening the Device could cause further damage which in many cases may be very serious and irreparable.
2.23 We ask our customers to monitor their Device post liquid damage repair, as unknown problems can arise soon after treatment for liquid damage which are beyond our control.
2.24 Should your Device display any further issues relating to liquid damage during the Warranty period, we will reassess and requote for the work needed. We will offer a full refund of all monies paid by you with respect to repairs carried out on your Device, excluding the Diagnostic fee and any courier charges should you wish to take this option.
2.25 Following repair, any water proofing or resistance cannot be guaranteed.
2.26 In the event that a part is damaged during the repair, we will replace the part with a high quality non -OEM part.
2.27 Our non-OEM iPhone screens may show an “Important Display Message” before disappearing into the Settings app after 48 hours. This does not affect the functionality or performance of your device in any other way but is used by Apple to promote the use of their own screens. This impacts models ranging from the iPhone11 Pro and later models.
2.28 Upon collection/return of the device, we ask our Customers to inspect the device before accepting it as repaired. Should any questions arise regarding the condition of your Device upon collection please contact a member of the service team.
2.29 Where parts are required to be ordered for your repair, we require the repair to be fully paid before the parts are ordered and is a non-refundable service.
2.30 Only one promotional discount may be applied at any one time. All discounts are subject to the discretion of the management. All valid discounts and promotions must be applied at point of sale.
2.31 Packaging and insurance cover for courier repairs will be provided on the return journey to customers but it is the customers responsibility to insure and pack all devices securely before any collection, or despatching to the Repair it Reuse it service centre.
2.32 If you request a refund for a repair, we reserve the right to reverse any repair completed and retain any parts fitted to process the refund. We cannot guarantee that your original part will be returned, we will provide a part in similar condition to the part that was initially attached to the device when the repair was initiated. By requesting a refund, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
3 Liability
3.1 Our entire liability in respect of any single cause of action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement (whether for breach of contract, tort, including negligence, statute or otherwise at all) shall be limited to the extent that the cause of the action related to our supply of the Services, at our exclusive option to either:
- a) supplying the services again
- b) payment of the cost of having the Services supplied again
- c) repaying you any amount that you have paid in respect of the services in exchange for returning your device to a similar condition as it was received.
3.2 If your Device is damaged beyond economical repair as a direct result of a service or repair undertaken by Repair it Reuse it you are entitled to a fully functioning refurbished device of equal value to your Device, based on its model and condition as received and with the original repair issue resolved. To receive a replacement device, full payment must have been received for the repair service and the relevant damaged device must be surrendered to Repair ii Reuse it. Your original device will be kept by Repair it Reuse it and any replacement device may take up to 10 working days to be provided although all efforts will be made to provide a replacement sooner.
3.3 Any data or information that you have stored on your Device shall remain your sole responsibility and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data however caused and we therefore highly recommend that you back up your Device onto an external drive prior to commissioning our Service. It is your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
3.4 In the very unlikely event that your Device is lost or stolen whilst in the possession of Repair it Reuse it, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity and make arrangements to replace the device on a like – for- like basis within a reasonable period of time. Where, for reasons beyond our control, it is not possible to replace the Device with the same model or variant, we will offer an alternative of similar specification and condition.
3.5 Nothing in Clause 3 shall apply to limit or exclude our liability for: (a) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence (b) breach of any terms implied by statute (c) any claim arising under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or (d) fraudulent misrepresentation.
3.6 In no circumstances whatsoever shall we be liable to you for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, including any loss of business, revenue, profits, anticipated saving, goodwill or any other indirect or consequential loss or damage of whatsoever nature however arising. This includes but is not limited to any travel or transportation costs or loss or damage to accessories.
3.7 We shall not be liable for any claim arising under this Agreement unless you give us in written notice of the claim within three months of becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to the claim or, if earlier, three months from the time you ought reasonably to have become aware of such circumstances.
3.8 If the repair warrants working on the component level of your logic board we cannot guarantee a fix of the device. Due to the nature of the repair, there is always the possibility that the damage may worsen to the stage where the device is beyond economic repair. In these circumstances we will refund all payments for this repair. We can only offer a one-month warranty on board repairs for the specific work carried out.
4. Data Protection
4.1 We ask for your name and address and any other relevant details so that we can notify you when your Device has been repaired and provide you with an efficient after sales service. We may also send you text messages and/ or emails from time to time to alert you to new services and promotions if you opted in to receiving marketing communications.
5. General
5.1 We are not liable to you for any delay in our failure of performance of our obligations under this Agreement arising from any reason beyond our reasonable control.
5.2 Our failure to exercise or enforce our rights or the giving of any forbearance, delay or indulgence, will not be construed as a waiver of such rights under this Agreement or otherwise.
5.3 This Agreement sets out the entire agreement and understanding between you and us in connection with its subject matter.
5.4 This Agreement may not be amended, modified, varied or supplemented except in writing signed by or on behalf of you and us.
5.5 If any part of this Agreement is found to be void or unenforceable it will be severed from the rest of the Agreement so that it is effective to the extent that it shall not affect the validity of the balance of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms.
5.6 Nothing in the Agreement shall confer on any third party and benefits under the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Thirds Parties) Act 1999.
5.7 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Declaration
By signing our Service Consent, you certify that you have read this Agreement that you know and understand the meaning and intent of the Agreement and that you are entering this Agreement knowingly and voluntarily. You also acknowledge the condition of your Device upon check-in/delivery into us as communicated by you and detailed on our database.
You also acknowledge that upon collection or return of your device, you will check that the device has been repaired to your expectation. If the repair has not been carried out to your satisfaction, please raise this with a member of our team and we will be happy to assist you.
General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks, and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit Card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the service, use of the service, or access to the service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
Price and Payment Options
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, MasterCard debit, Maestro and PayPal payments.

The prices shown on our e-commerce site include any VAT (or similar sales tax) at the prevailing rate for which we are responsible as the service provider. The amount you pay will be the price indicated plus any delivery charges. The delivery charge will depend on the delivery option that you choose and will be
shown during the checkout process.
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify and discontinue the service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the service.
3.Credit Card Validation
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the check-out stage.
At all times where we disclose your information it will remain secure.
We are working together with PayPal and Sage pay to offer you a safer shopping experience when using your credit card online.
If you choose not to register during the checkout process depending on the card issuer, we may not be able to process your order. A different method of payment will be required to complete your purchase.
